Pat Fitzgerald – Brass Teacher

Pat Fitzgerald is a past pupil of the Cork School of Music, studying Trombone with Michael O’Callaghan and advanced studies with Sean Cahill, retired section principal Trombone, National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland. He has been an active freelance performer with local bands, brass quintets and orchestras. He was principal trombone of the Tirgu Mures Philharmonic Orchestra (Romania) from 1993 to 1997. He has been teaching at the Gleneagle School of Music since 2009. He is currently Associate Principal Trombone of the City of Cork Symphony Orchestra and has performed with Nigel Kennedy (Violin), Tasmin Little (Violin), Julian Lloyd Webber (Cello), Nicola Benedetti (Violin) and Katherine Jenkins (Soprano)
